i went to the doctor yesterday and was diagnosed with a yeast infection, PLUS bacterial vaginosis. the doctor prescribed me diflucan for the yeast, and clindamycin for the bacterial infection. i’m really confused about treatment though, because i remember her saying something about taking one of the medications will cause the yeast infection to come back or something, but i’m not positive. she told me to take one of the diflucan yeast pills, then the next night, start using the clindamycin cream every night before bed for a week. then after the last treatment take another pill, and if it’s still itching a week later, take another pill. i’m confused though, can someone please help me understand what she was saying about the yeast coming back? thanks.

I have a milky white discharge with barely any odor, itching, and a sore spot. Ive been checked for Herpes recently and it was negative. There isnt an actual sore, just a spot thats very sensitive to the touch. The discharge looks like BV without the odor, but the itching feels like a yeast infection. Cant get to the doc til Monday, can anyone help? Can BV cause sores? Or is it something worse? I have had unprotected sex twice in the last 2 weeks.

keep getting Bacterial Vaginosis through this whole pregnancy. I’m about 24 weeks pregnant, And I’m scared I have it agian, I never really get any symptoms but I always have it when they test!! It’s so annoying…I’ve read of everything itcan cause like premature labor and it scares me!! I already have anxoity problems and this is just adding so much stress!! I am taking probiotics but it helps with symptoms but it’s still there. I have been on meds called Flaygl a few times, it comes back about a week later along with a yeast infection! UGH!!! Anyone else know about this? I’m starting to think treating it is pointless because it keeps coming back!!! I’m only with my husbandno one else and we have only done it twice in the past month! Any help would be appreciated!

I’m worried I might have a yeast infection, or bacterial vaginosis. There are tablets I found to cure it, but I am not sure how to use it. They are called CENASERT tablets. How do I use these tablets? Do I insert them, and leave it there?
