Bacterial Vaginosis BV Blog

I think I may have a bacterial vaginosis because my symptoms match it, but I’m not completely sure. I haven’t been to a doctor yet, I don’t really want to go because I’ve had this before. It’s been a little itchy, like I don’t have to itch it or anything but I can feel that it is itchy on and off. It’s red inside my vagina and sore, it only burns a little bit when I pee and when I wipe. I also have a thin, white discharge that comes out when I pee, but it doesn’t drip when I’m out and about. I took a mirror and checked up there and can see the white and it’s thin and runny. I’m not sure what this could be, but I’ve had a yeast infection before and that was way worse compared to this. I am pretty sure it’s a BV. I got some acidophilus tablets to take for it. I’m not sure what caused this, the only possibility I can think of is that I had sex a few days ago and something must of happened then? I’m really clean and shower once a day. If it doesn’t get better I’m going to the doctor tomorrow, I’m just going to see how I feel in the morning. It’s really annoying to have. When I don’t think about it, I forget that it’s even there.
