I am being treated for BV AND a yeast infection right now. I would go to a clinic and have them do an exam. They will swab you, and check out the contents of the swab under a microscope. They can tell you in 5 minutes if you have BV and/or yeast infection. They can also take a look at the sore spot you are concerned about.
